The Red Ring is Duquesne University’s campus restaurant that serves not only our students, faculty, staff, and alumni, but also our neighbors in Pittsburgh! It’s a great spot for dinner with visiting family, to meet up with friends before an event at nearby Consol Energy Center or to celebrate a special occasion. We love seeing our alumni back at The Red Ring for a meal before rooting on the Dukes at a sporting event or just to catch up with old friends.
Our outdoor patio is great for cooling off in the summer or spring with a few drinks and in the fall and winter it’s heated and enclosed for a nice change of atmosphere during the colder months.
With our fresh menu that features local meats and produce, we strive to provide an authentic culinary experience while keeping your busy schedule in mind. We’re committed to providing local, made-from-scratch foods that appeal to both your appetite and your budget.
The Red Ring has earned the Gold Plate of designation as a Sustainable Pittsburgh Restaurant. A Sustainable Pittsburgh Restaurant demonstrates commitment to managing the social and environmental impacts of its operations as central to its strategy for business success.
Administered by Sustainable Pittsburgh, Sustainable Pittsburgh Restaurant is a new performance program that recognizes restaurants for implementing practices that are simultaneously benefitting the environment, economy, and society.
